  1. Add a Payment question to your form: a fixed price, or the total the form works out from the answers.
  2. Connect your Stripe account. It takes a few minutes. No Stripe account yet? You can create one during the connect step.
  3. Share the form link or put the form on your site. Customers pay on the form itself, with no redirect to a separate checkout.

Customers can pay by card, plus any payment methods you switch on in Stripe, such as bank payments, Cash App Pay and Klarna. You pay Stripe’s standard fees and nothing to Nextforms.

Payouts and refunds stay in Stripe

Charges land in your own Stripe account. Payouts follow your normal Stripe schedule, and refunds and disputes are handled in your Stripe dashboard.

A fixed price, or a total the form works out

A fixed amount covers the simple cases: a ticket, a deposit, a registration fee.

More often the amount depends on what someone chose: quantity, options, a size, a delivery method. Nextforms calculates the total from the answers and charges that. Your customer sees the total update as they fill in the form, so nobody is surprised at the card field. The total is worked out again on our server when the form is sent, so nobody can change the price before paying.

One-off or recurring

Charge once, or set the Payment question to a subscription and bill monthly or yearly. A membership signup, a recurring donation, and a one-time order all use the same question type.

After the payment

Every response shows whether it was paid, so a paid order is easy to tell apart from an abandoned one. You can get an email for each new order, send your customer a confirmation from your own address, and add each order to Google Sheets, Notion or Slack. All free.
